Some of the Cowboys’ draft picks already know each other.
Baylor receiver Terrance Williams, Oklahoma State running back Joseph Randle and South Carolina linebacker Devonte Holloman worked out at the same facility in the spring, at Athletes Performance in Frisco.
“Know them very well,” Holloman said of the others. “Terrance is really cool, and so is Joseph. Me and Joseph talk a lot of junk to each other, so we will finally get to settle it in rookie camp.”
What kind of junk?
“His school over my school. SEC. And just fun talking trash.”
Randle said, “I know they got Terrance Williams, and I worked out with him pre-draft, so that’s going to be a good setup.”
But the idea of playing on the same NFL team never came up, Randle said. They didn’t talk about that.
“We never did, but we were real close, and we’re good friends. And this is a dream come true,” he said.
