Jerry Jones: No regrets about attending Bush Library dedication, would have been mistake to miss it

Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones drew some negative attention on Thursday because he attended the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Library on the morning of the NFL Draft.

But Jones said he has no regrets and called it a wonderful, once and a lifetime experience to be there with five living presidents on hand.

“Knowing what I know now I never would have forgiven myself for missing it,” Jones said.

He said he actually almost missed it because of he was at the team’s headquarters preparing for the draft and had to fight traffic to get to SMU in time for the event.
