Cowboys claim defensive end Thaddeus Gibson, waived by Tennessee, and release tackle James Nelson

The Cowboys continued their hunt for defensive line help, at least through training camp, by claiming defensive end Thaddeus Gibson off waivers from the Tennessee Titans.
He was a fourth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010 and has also played for San Francisco and Chicago.
To make room, the Cowboys released offensive tackle James Nelson.
