Parnell will get more time against Bengals to 'catch him up a little bit,' Garrett says

Right tackle Jermey Parnell will get extended playing time at right tackle against the Bengals, coach Jason Garrett said.

“Yeah, a little bit like Terrance Williams last week, play him a little bit longer than you would, just to catch him up a little bit,” Garrett said.

Parnell missed all but the last week training camp because of a hamstring injury.

“Technically, he’s got to get better. He plays too high,” Garrett said. “A lot of young players play high. He’s tall. It’s something he’s got to really work on, bending. And then he hasn’t played football in a little bit, so he’s getting back to where he needs to be.”
