Brian Waters looks ready to play an entire game, says Jerry Jones: 'He can help us if he does'

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he believes guard Brian Waters is ready to play an entire game.

“It would be my read on him physically,” Jones said Friday on KRLD 105.3 FM “The Fan.” “I think he’s starting to get into the area of physical shape that he wants to be in.”

Waters, signed Sept. 4, played 18 snaps against Kansas City last week, rotating with right guard Mackenzy Bernadeau.

“I like the way he described, ‘I knew I’d gotten back into it when I got hit in the mouth about the second play in Kansas City,’ ” Jones said. “But he certainly has played just really good. And he can help us if he does.”
