Cowboys are being cautious with Ware and his stinger problems

Defensive end DeMarcus Ware was back at practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's practice.

It was no coincidence that the Cowboys practiced in full pads on Wednesday and not on Thursday. Ware has been taking out of three games this season because of problems with stingers and has been limited in practice the last two weeks.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said they are trying to limit Ware's contract in practice during the week in an effort to manage the issue. He has been been able to play in every game so far.

Garrett's admits it's a frustrating problem because there is no guarantee it when or if it will arise each week and you can't avoid contract during games.

“We just want to make sure we don’t go backwards on that,” coach Jason Garrett said. “He’s been able to play really effectively in the games. That’s just the way we’re handling it now. Hopefully it gets better and we won’t have to do that throughout the year.”

Ware leads the Cowboys with four sacks this season.
