Injury report: Austin, Harris sit out practice, and Ware limited; five Chargers miss practice

Miles Austin and Dwayne Harris sat out of practice Wednesday, and defensive end DeMarcus Ware was listed as limited participation.

Ware is bothered by a neck injury from the Kansas City game.

Austin came out of last week’s game because of a hamstring injury, and Harris suffered a hip pointer on a punt return.

Morris Claiborne (shoulder) and linebacker Ernie Sims (groin) went through a full practice.

Harris said he sat out as a precaution.

"They don’t want me to go out there and aggravate it no more than it already is," he said.

For the Chargers, five players missed practice: guards Jeromey Clary (clavicle) and Chad Rinehart (toe), cornerback Shareece Wright (hamstring), offensive tackle King Dunlap (concussion) and receiver Malcom Floyd (neck).

Limited in practice for the Chargers were linebacker Dwight Freeney (not injury related) and center Nick Hardwick (shin).
