Jerry Jones happy to finally beat the Giants at home, credits the name change to AT&T Stadium

While Cowboys coach Jason Garrett downplayed the dominance the Giants have had over the Cowboys since their $1.2 billion stadium opened in 2009, it has truly been a sore point for owner Jerry Jones.

The Cowboys were undefeated in their previous four visits to Jerryworld until Sunday night when Dallas won 36-31.

Jones kiddingly credited the decision in August to change the name from Cowboys Stadium to AT&T Stadium after the telecom giant purchased naming rights.

"I’m going to do whatever it takes to beat these Giants," Jones said. "I changed the name of the stadium, so we’ll do whatever comes up next to get that done."
