Rookie center Travis Frederick responsible for both sacks by Poe; one a physical beating, one mental

Per coach Jason Garret, rookie center Travis Frederick was responsible for two sacks by Chiefs nose guard Dontari Poe. One was an old-fashioned physical beating. The other was breakdown in communication, allowing an unblocked Poe a free run at quarterback Tony Romo.

“He physically got beat on the one,” Garrett said, “and the other one there was a miscommunication between him and the guard. Ultimately, he’s responsible for making sure that communication is right. One was more physical, the other was more communication and a mental error.”

Dontarie Poe was one of my first round targets for Jerry in the 2012 draft. Jerry should have listened.

And to think. Jerry could have drafted Poe.
