Stephen Jones tells Cowboys radio he believes Brian Waters will get 'significant' playing time against Chiefs

The Cowboys have been impressed by how quickly Brian Waters has worked himself into playing shape.

Now he may be ready.

Executive vice president Stephen Jones said on KRLD that he thinks Waters "will get a significant amount of playing time" on Sunday against Kansas City. He said the Cowboys are prepared to go with starter Mackenzy Bernadeau, also.

The Cowboys signed Waters on Sept. 4, the week of the Giants game. He worked at right guard ith the second team that week. He alternated snaps with Bernadeau this week.

Jones also told KRLD 105.3 FM "The Fan" that Waters and the Cowboys kept tabs on each other in preseason, knowing it was possible they would get together. He said Waters told the Cowboys he was impressed by the play of left guard Ron Leary.
