Cowboys happy to win on road, happy to be back in control of the division

It may not have been a pretty game but it wasn’t supposed to be. Division games on the road are going to be tough.

That the Cowboys got the win _ their first road win of the season, giving them back to back wins for the first time all season _ was all that mattered.

The Cowboys (4-3) are now 3-0 in the division for the first time since 2007 and the seventh time in history

“This is something, a win that we can really build off of,” owner Jerry Jones said. “To say the least, it’s nice to win two in a row and it’s great to win one on the road in the division. Well, it is meaningful just by the nature of the way the game is today, you’re going to have these teams knocking each other off and you’re really getting some legs up on everybody when you can win all of your division games. To get this win on the road, we’ve got two more that we’ve got to play on the road, this is the way to start it.”
