DeMarcus Ware says he's fine, but he'll have an MRI on his quadriceps

Defensive end DeMarcus Ware insists he is fine. He seems to be walking fine, too.

Jason Garrett announced after the game that Ware has a strained right quadriceps, but Ware will undergo an MRI on Monday.

"We’ll have to see through all the MRIs and everything," Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said after the game. "We didn’t want to do anything that might obviously hurt it further. I think without knowing more we couldn’t let him back in the game. We’ll really have to look at it and see."

Ware left the game in the second quarter. He walked to the locker room with assistant athletic trainer Britt Brown and returned in shorts and a T-shirt.

Ware has never missed a game in his nine-year career.

"I'm good," said Ware, who walked without a limp.

Ware, who has a franchise-record 115 career sacks, has had stingers and a back injury this season. He had played only 251 of a possible 348 plays in 2012. Ware played through right shoulder and right elbow injuries last season and needed off-season surgery on his shoulder.
