George Selvie on his fine: I'm not trying to be a dirty player at all

Defensive end George Selvie knew the fine was coming, but he wants Peyton Manning and everyone else to know he didn't grab Manning's facemask on purpose.

“I reached out, and that’s what I happened to grab,” Selvie said. “I’m not trying to be a dirty player at all. That’s what I happened to grab, and that’s what happened.”

The league fined Selvie $7,875 for a facemask penalty on Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Selvie was penalized on the second-quarter play.

Selvie wouldn't say for certain if he would appeal the fine.

I’ll handle that my own way. I've got kids to feed," he said.
