Practice report: Austin, Durant, Selvie miss a second practice; special teams aces Harris and Jones get reduced work

Miles Austin, Justin Durant and George Selvie again missed practice Thursday, adding to the doubt that they will be ready for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Austin has been rehabbing a hamstring injury that caused him to miss the game at San Diego. Durant suffered a groin injury, and Selvie a concussion in the game.

The Cowboys also have medical questions for special teams. Receiver and punt returner Dwayne Harris, who has a hip pointer from the St. Louis game, was limited in practice after going full the day before. Defensive end Edgar Jones sat out practice because of a groin injury; he had been limited in practice on Wednesday.

Harris and Jones are the top two tacklers on special teams, which will be challenged by Denver's Trindon Holliday, who has a punt return and a kickoff return for a touchdown this year, and six combined in his 21-game career.

For the second day, however, DeMarcus Ware (back), Bruce Carter (foot) and Morris Claiborne (shoulder) practiced in full.
