Scandrick snaps 27 game streak without an interception with big pick against RGIII

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick sealed the victory against the Redskins Sunday night with a leaping interception in the end zone.

"Just go get the ball," Scandrick said. "Just go get it. And then I knew I had it all the way.”

It was his first interception since 2011, snapping a streak of 27 games without a pick.

Scandrick liked the interception but he was made at himself about a missed tackle on Alfred Morri's 45-yard touchdown run that helped the Redskins get back into the game.

"I missed a tackle on [Morris] and that’s a tackle I normally make," Scandrick said. "You’ve got to figure out a way to get him to the ground."
