Dez Bryant said he was “heartbroken” by his fumble that caused the Cowboys to lose 20 yards on an early drive in the fourth quarter, but that he knew he had to keep his composure and is working on his concentration.
After the drive, Bryant sat on the bench with his head in his hands. He had already had a tough game.
“I didn’t get too down on myself,” he said. “I had to keep myself together because those guys were believing in me, and I was believing in me. I had to keep my composure and go out there and play my game.”
Bryant said the cold wasn’t a factor. He just wasn’t focused enough, and that’s something he’s working on.
“That’s not like me,” he said. “I have to stay focused and concentrate on the ball. Me, I’m evaluating myself. I have to do better in that area. I think it’s more concentration, and I’m going to stay on that and get better.”
Bryant finished with nine catches for 102 yards on 16 targets, one game after having only one catch on two targets.
