Cowboys put Dunbar on IR, sign former Texans, Bears fullback Tyler Clutts

The Cowboys put running back Lance Dunbar on injured reserve and signed fullback Tyler Clutts, who played for the Houston Texans last year and for the Chicago Bears two years ago.

Clutts played four games for the Miami Dolphins this year, making one start. He has no carries in his three-year career, but he has eight catches for 48 yards. He played in all 16 games for the Texans and Bears each year.

Clutts, 29, went undrafted out of Fresno State in 2008. He played two years in the CFL and two in arena football.

Dunbar hurt his knee in the Thanksgiving Day game against Oakland and will have surgery on it, requiring three or more months of recovery.
