Mike Smith is apparently getting his third consecutive start tomorrow night. Marty Turco told the media that after practice, and Smith talked about the third start afterward.
Coach Tippett wasn't saying anything either way, other than to say it will be decided this morning.
Smith has been the hot goaltender, and the Stars like to go with the guy on a roll. Turco, though, is 2-0 against the Ducks this season.
Any thoughts here?

Do you think the Stars are showcasing Smith for a possible trade to get that scoring winger for Modano; or do they want to see what they have before trying to move Turco (for that scoring winger) No Trade Contract and all; or is Turco just getting a nice rest so he's fresh the remainder of the season???
I'm leaning towards showcasing Smith for the winger deal.

Cat,
I'm not sure, myself. I know all we're hearing is "need a scoring winger," but look at the Stars' games lately. Doesn't seem like scoring's been a problem lately. Still, never hurts to add someone else.
But right now, I think it's just getting Smitty in there after his long break.
