First is in

There were some great chances for both teams in the first 20 minutes, so credit Mike Smith and Niklas Backstrom with some good goaltending.
Stars had 1:07 of 5 on 3 time and didn't get a goal, although Brenden Morrow came close from the doorstep. Again, credit Backstrom for that. Hate to see those 5 on 3 opportunities go away with nothing to show for them.
