OK, I think I'm periodically going to do this between now and regular season's end. 1: Because it's fun and, 2: It could change 20 times before we get to April.
Anyway, if the playoffs started today, the Stars would be the No. 2 seed (Pacific Division champs) facing No. 7 Calgary. Ooh, this would be a fun series from a hockey standpoint. The Stars, facing their former prospect Jarome Iginla in the postseason. Now, from a travel aspect, this would be one crazy long outing. Sheesh, would we be racking up the miles. But playoff hockey against a Canadian team is fantastic stuff. I know the Stars dominated the Oilers all those years they played in the first round, but Stars beat writers before me said there was nothing like Edmonton come April.
Well, that's my fun for this morning. So tell me, folks, how would you feel about this matchup?
