Actually, it took a fall. I was reading this story on Yahoo about the Detroit Red Wings' celebration party in which the Stanley Cup got dropped in the midst of a handoff between Chris Chelios and Brett Lebda. Apparently, the poor Cup needed tended to for its "injury."
Just like the league's players, I trust the Cup is tough :)
