Watching the NHL Network, and Michael Russo from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune (great NHL man and all-around nice guy) is reporting that the Minnesota Wild are close to signing left wing Andrew Brunette to a multi-year deal. I'll admit, I would've loved seeing Brunette in a Stars jersey. After all, he's done enough damage to the Stars in his career!
