I put some of this in the webcast, but it's not up yet. So we'll use the old-fashioned written word, too:
Groups A and B worked out on their own again today. Mike Modano was with Brad Richards and Jere Lehtinen, and Loui Eriksson, Steve Ott and B.J. Crombeen were together again after their wildly successful session in a scrimmage earlier this week.
Yeah, I can't believe I used "wildly" either. You gotta keep yourself spirited with more than two weeks remaining until the regular season. My kingdom for a game that counts in the standings...
Anyway, Group B had an encore presentation of the Brenden Morrow-Mike Ribeiro-Fabian Brunnstrom line. Brunnstrom, however, may be out for Saturday night's game against St. Louis. Coach Dave Tippett said he wanted Fabian to sit Saturday or Sunday's game (in Chicago). We'll see who's out there tomorrow morning. James Neal, Toby Petersen and Sean Avery were together again, too.
