The Stars had a healthy lead in the shots on goal category, outshooting the Blues 13-4. But they don't have anything to show for it yet. The quiet time includes the power play, on which the Stars went 0 for 3 in the first. They're getting some decent looks, but nada so far.
The Blues got one at the 5:28 mark. Marty Turco's attempted clearing pass went right to Blues defenseman Mike Weaver. Two passes later, Matt Foy scored for a 1-0 lead.
This game hasn't been quite as smooth, either, at least in the opening frame. Hopefully things will pick up in the second period.
