The Stars had their Open House for fans during Saturday morning's skate. It was just like a school open house, really... well, minus the teachers and the classroom and the student critique.
Anyway, saw most of the big names out on the ice this morning: Modano, Richards, Morrow, Ribeiro, Turco, etc. James Neal was also out there, as was defenseman Garrett Stanford, who will play tonight and tomorrow in Chicago. Stafford and Jancevski are just two of the D-men looking for jobs with the big club, with Sergei Zubov and Philippe Boucher on the shelf. Boucher, however, could be skating by early next week.
Fabian Brunnstrom will not play tonight, but will play tomorrow in Chicago.
It looks like Tobias Stephan got his new goaltender mask. Pretty basic design: white mask with a big Star on the side.
That's about it for the a.m. updates... remember, game begins at 7 p.m. I'll be a-bloggin' and a-writin'. and if I get enough caffeine, I'll also be a-buzzin'.
