It was a sparse crowd at the AAC this morning (just the guys who won't be playing tonight, basically). Philippe Boucher was working out with the group, and said he came out of it feeling very good. Boucher's been skating since Monday, about a half hour each day, and will do the same tomorrow morning. That sets up Saturday, which will be his first practice with the team this camp. If all goes well, Boucher would like to play the team's final preseason game on Sunday night. Coach Dave Tippett was happy with how Boucher's progressing.
Brenden Morrow is out for tonight, but it's purely precautionary. Tippett said he could've played Wednesday night in Colorado, but there's no need to push things if it isn't necessary.
Nicklas Grossman was out there skating, too. So we'll see how he progresses.
OK, folks, that's about it for now. We'll be back with you tonight.
