The NHL named Fabian Brunnstrom its third star of the week for his four-goal performance this past week. Brunnstrom was just the third NHLer in history to tally a hat trick in his league debut, so kudos to him.
The other two stars were LW Thomas Vanek of the Sabres (6 goals, 2 assists) and G Niklas Backstrom of the Wild (3-0-0, 1.30 GAA, 1 shutout).
