I'm always for the short, punchy headlines on my blogs, but no other way to explain that in few words.
Chicago Blackhawks forward Ben Eager is suspended for three games without pay after he swung his stick at Sean Avery in their preseason game last Thursday. Eager, who was on the bench when he went swinging, got a match penalty for it. So he forfeits $9,677.43.
Hmm, I know that could pay a few of my bills. How 'bout you folks?
