Columbus forward Michael Peca has been suspended indefinitely for intentional physical contact with a referee in Friday night's game against the Stars. Peca, who was assigned a game misconduct penalty at 5:21 in the second period for the incident, has appealed the suspension.
Peca told the Columbus Post Dispatch that, "the only contact was me grabbing (Greg Kimmerly's) arm to slow him down, because he was skating away and I wanted to plead my case." Here's the link to the Dispatch story that explains the whole thing.
