Hey folks,
Just giving you a quick update from high in the rafters in St. Louis:
Steve Ott and Jere Lehtinen are both out tonight again. Ott's injury is apparently nothing that should be long-term, but considering how many games the Stars have coming up very soon, we'll keep an eye on how long he's sidelined.
Marty Turco will be in goal again tonight.
I talked to Mike Ribeiro before the game about the struggles the top line is having. "Lehts is a big piece of it," he said. Sure, missing Lehtinen is huge not for just he and Brenden Morrow, but for this whole team. But Morrow, Ribs and Eriksson did pretty well at the start of last season, and the two worked well with Fabian Brunnstrom in preseason. The Stars need this line to find its way back to its productive self.
That's about it for now, folks. Don't know if the lines will be the same as last night or not, but we'll give them to ya as soon as we know.
