As anticipated, the Stars reassigned a few guys on Thursday. Ray Sawada will go to the Manitoba Moose, Aaron Gagnon will head to Grand Rapids and Perttu Lindgren goes to Lukko Rauman in Finland.
Meanwhile, the Stars picked up defenseman Doug Janik off waivers from the Chicago Blackhawks. Janik, 28, played in 136 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning the past two seasons, recording three goals and 12 assists, as well as 98 penalty minutes.
When will Garrett Stafford Be sent to Grand Rapids.
