Everyone may hate Sean Avery, but he knows how to get attention and get a call. Islanders right wing Kyle Okposo gets a roughing call on Avery, and the Stars get a power-play goal from Loui Eriksson to take a 1-0 lead at the 3:30 mark. Great pass from Ribeiro, and Eriksson looked wide open in front. The Stars worked that power play well, keeping it in the zone or pretty close, so the Isles couldn't get a change at any time.
Oh, and the Isles fans are booing Avery every chance they get. Yeah, I could've basically posted that in every building I've been in this week.
