Little wrap-up on today's practice if I may...
Jere Lehtinen and Steve Ott did not skate today, but both with skate tomorrow morning in Anaheim. Dave Tippett wasn't so sure on Lehtinen, but he was a little more optimistic sounding on Otter starting tomorrow night against the Duckies.
Sergei Zubov looks good out there. Tippett said they'd see where he was at tomorrow, but I would be surprised if he didn't play.
Doug Janik's spot with the forwards was more to do with having an option with the drills the Stars were working on today. That said, if there's a shortage, Tippett said, "the defenseman in the white jersey could come in handy." Janik said he played about 15 games at forward last season, so in a pinch he could do it. He's just thrilled at this point to be close to playing, since he was sidelined so quickly with the eye injury.
OK, folks, we're about to hit the road again tomorrow. Must say I've missed the games, and now we'll have two quick ones (although, that stinkin' 9 p.m. start. Ugh). Anyway, we'll see you all soon enough.

"(although, that stinkin' 9 p.m. start. Ugh)."
Yeah, that sucks when teams in the Pacific Division have to play in the Pacific Time Zone, huh?

Yes, it does. Especially when the Pacific Division team I cover is NOWHERE NEAR the stinkin' Pacific.
I hate it, will always hate it, and the NHL should be reconfiguring the divisions.
You all aren't the only ones who use this forum to complain :)

These late games really suck when I have to get up at 4:30 AM for work. The 4 OT was the hardest but I was a diehard until the end.
