I almost want to send a memo to the rest of the Stars: Follow the 38-year-old. Seriously, I wondered where Modano was going to be this season but any doubt I had has been answered. The guy is playing great. What a goal, and at a ridiculous angle, too. If only that could spread through this team.
Anyway, I didn't have much to say about the second period, other than it was one of those grinding little 20-minute sessions. Still, the Stars need to clean things up on the other end. Looks to me like the Kings are still getting some nice little opportunities.
