The Stars did some good things in the period, especially with their penalty kill. That four-minute minor to Morrow could've been detrimental, but they only allowed three shots on the two power plays and kept the Bruins from taking off with this one a bit.
And as much as Marty Turco should've had the first, he made some mammoth ones the rest of the period; the stop on Wideman, and the backhanded glove swat at Stephan Yelle's attempt at the end of the period were huge.
Stars should be pretty happy with the first 20, considering how the first 3 minutes went.
