The Stars are trading punches now, a far cry for how poor they looked in the first period. I think they were outshooting the Flyers 9-0 in the first six minutes. Should probably be leading, but then again they didn't slump their shoulders and give up the period after that Carter goal.
Mike Modano... once again, the guy's playing like he's in his 20s. Great, great work from him. Others should take note and follow. We'll see if the Stars can piece together another 20 minutes. The third has been a bane for them this season.


Way too many mistakes. I don't fault Marty for this one. In the last couple of minutes, SHOOT THE PUCK. It doesn't have a chance to go in unless you shoot. Of course all of us here see that and complain. That's what rebounds are for. Hit a body with the puck. Oh well. Another one bites the dust.
