Just when health seemed to be getting better on this team, there is a new concern with Jere Lehtinen. Don't know what it is, other than it seems it could be a concern. Not a good to hear, obviously. He's being evaluated today, so we may hear something later today or tomorrow.
Anyway, I was at the luncheon so I didn't have a chance to update the rest of practice.
Defenseman Trevor Daley was back today and he's through with the flu.
Doug Janik was dressed as a forward and playing with Toby Petersen and Krys Barch. Dave Tippett said he was a body on a team that needed an extra forward with Lehtinen out of practice today.
Oh, and confirmed with co-GM Brett Hull at the luncheon that James Neal is on his way back to the Dallas area. I'm guessing that means we should see him at practice tomorrow in Frisco.

Tracey,
Thanks for the update....Obviously,"good news/bad news" scenario.Potential sustained loss of Lehtinen hurts. You know how I feel about Neal potential. If he commits to fore-check/back-check with the same energy he brings to offense, it will be a "team" positive.

Wow, this makes the Crombeen move look dumber than ever. Since I'm no longer needed in Tampa, I wonder if Hicks would consider a tri-part GM. Maybe I could help keep Hull in line and prevent him from adding any more of his friends to the roster.
