Avery's morning talk

Oh, he talked for all of 15 seconds, but leave it to Sean Avery to pack plenty of punch into a few words. Anyway, here's what the Grate One had to say to the Canadian media throng (and in Canada, it is that):
    "I want to comment on how it’s a common thing for NHL guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about. Enjoy the game."
    Now that's a pretty clear shot at Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf, who is currently dating actress Elisha Cuthbert, Avery's former squeeze. Ah, nothing like a little pregame snippet, eh? Not sure if all Stars were thrilled to hear it, though.
    "Hopefully he doesn’t back down and shows up like a man," said Marty Turco . "But we expect that out of him like we have all year. The show continues."
    Continued Marty: "When you’re trying to build up from the basement where we are, you need everyone focused. Hopefully those words are echoed from his focus. He wants to get out of here, get on the ice and be competitive. It all remains to be seen."

grow up n.h.l. we have all said something about an x girlfriend, if Sean said your mother had an afair with your golie, would you bunch of cry babies take offence to it? let it go boys! the stars are making the best of what they have, settle it on the ice, like todd did in colorado!!!!!!!
