Aah, the short break was nice, but it's back to the ice for the boys and for us scribes. Times like this I miss the Christmas break I had as a kid... wait, more the one I had in college. Like a month or something. OK, back to the Stars.
Everybody was on the ice today (save Brenden Morrow and Sergei Zubov, of course) although Joel Lundqvist still isn't quite where he needs to be. The Stars will re-evaluate him tomorrow morning before they host the Duckies tomorrow night, but I'm thinking he's still out for another game or so. The problem is, Lundqvist is going just fine in practice for a while but starts feeling fatigue in that shoulder before they get to the end of practice. He looked great in his one game back, so he's definitely someone the Stars want to get up and running on a consistent basis. May just take the time necessary right now.
The lines from today (same as Toronto game):
Neal-Modano-Lehtinen
Toby Petersen-Brad Richards-Loui Eriksson
Ott-Ribeiro-Brunnstrom
Barch-Sutherby-Wilson
