Great second effort by Fabian Brunnstrom, following his own shot: He broke through the middle and Mikka Kiprusoff got the first one, but Brunnstrom was strong enough to one-arm it back through for a 2-1 Stars lead at the 7:53 mark. Trevor Daley and Matt Niskanen on the assists.
