Hey all,
Someone asked about Trevor Daley; sorry I didn't put it on the blog last night, but there was no real update. And there's a bit of one this morning. Dave Tippett said it was a lower body injury on Daley, but hadn't talked to the docs yet. That said, he was thinking it wasn't anything too serious; Daley's listed as probable for Saturday against Ottawa. "It's a tweak that he was nervous about, so unless something comes up this morning he should be fine," Tippett said.
Jere Lehtinen will skate tomorrow morning in Ottawa, and then they'll figure out if he's ready to go. Should be ready to roll, but this is Lehtinen, and he won't go unless he's absolutely perfect. Frustrating, yes, but considering his back and forth off the injured list this season, I'd be pretty cautious at this point, too.
As far as Lundqvist and Ott, good stuff from them last night. Tippett said they'll have the general soreness that comes with not playing for a while, but otherwise they're fine.
That's all for now kids. Wish me luck: Flying to Ottawa through Chicago. Hmmm...

From one whom cares - Good Luck!!
