There was a delayed penalty and the Blue Jackets barely got their sixth man on the ice, but he didn't factor into this one. R.J. Umberger had the first shot, which hit the post, and Rick Nash was there for the cleanup to put the Jackets up 1-0 at the 1:34 mark. Jakub Voracek got the second assist.
