Now this is what I call a start. Maybe it's just the Stars' energy, the Sabres' lack thereof, or a combination, but the Stars are looking very strong. Spent a lot of time around Ryan Miller, didn't give the Sabres a whole lot on the other end. The Sabres played the Chicago Blackhawks last night, so methinks there was some fatigue in that first period.
But if the Stars can keep this up, they will be in tremendous shape. Going 2 for 2 on the power play doesn't hurt anything. And so far they've been allowed to get some lengthy passes for breakaway opportunities. How close was Loui Eriksson from netting No. 22?
