Tonight marked 25 consecutive games for Marty Turco, and he was once again stellar. You can tell he's just feeling it right now, and if it were up to Marty, he would probably play the next 10, too.
Then again, it sounds like it is up to Marty. He said he and coach Dave Tippett talk every day about how Turco's feeling, and thus far Turco's been given the thumb's up each time. Tippett said they'll talk more on the plane ride up to Chicago, but if Marty says he's fine and ready to go, how could you possibly deny the guy right now?
You could argue he's the overworked goalie right now, but he's also the hot goalie. Still, back to backs are always tricky calls.
So what would you do with Marty tonight, folks, play him or sit him?
