Trevor Daley stood up for Loui Eriksson when Eriksson took a hard clean hit from Sheldon Brookbank.
But Daley received two minutes for instigating and a 10-minute misconduct along with the five-minutes for fighting.
So, Daley is gone for 17 minutes, the Ducks scored on the ensuing power play (Pronger from the point) and all of the energy is out of the building. It's 2-0 Ducks and looks like it could be a long afternoon for Stars fans.

Not the smart thing or right thing to do. I'm getting tired of that trend in the league the past few years. It's a clean hit, it's called hockey. Keep your head up.
