I'm not going to say "too quiet," because as soon as I do, then all hades will break loose. Oh, guess I just did say it.
Anyway, I'm kind of surprised that the NHL trade deadline has been so silent thus far. Just remembering back to last year's and how active we were this time of the morning. So far, there's been just one deal (Ottawa forward Antoine Vermette goes to Columbus in exchange for goaltender Pascal Leclaire).
Maybe it's the economy rearing its ugly head again. Next season's salary cap is likely to be lower. So, will it be a quiet day?
