Lehtinen takes ceremonial faceoff

Teemu Selanne was honored before the game for becoming the 18th player to score 600 goals in the NHL.

Finnish legend Jari Kurri, who has 601, presented Selanne with an engraved silver platter and then they held a ceremonial opening faceoff and invited Jere Lehtinen to take it for the Stars.

Kurri and Selanne are Lehtinen's good friends and, he says, his idols.

That was a nice touch.
