Turco in goal on Wednesday, Mondano a game away

Marty Turco will start in goal on Wednesday against the Sharks.

Marc Crawford hasn't said it yet, but I think he would like to test Kari Lehtonen in back-to-back games over the weekend to see how far his conditioning has come. That's just a guess on my part, but I could see Lehtonen playing Friday against Edmonton at home and Saturday at St. Louis.

A lot would depend on the way Lehtonen played Friday, but I think it's in the back of their mind right now.

Mike Modano (appendectomy) will skate in the morning but won't play Wednesday night. He is expected to return to the lineup on Friday against Edmonton.

Mike Ribeiro will be back in the lineup on Wednesday against the Sharks.
