Tom Wandell suffered a shoulder sprain when he was hit by Mark Fistric in the Stars' scrimmage today.
He will be evaluated today and the Stars should know more on Monday, but the early indications are a couple of week, coach Marc Crawford said.
The Black Team won the scrimmage, 5-3, today on Prince Edward Island. The team used penalty shots to decide penalties and James Neal had the game-winner, breaking a 3-3 tie when he scored on a penalty shot against Brent Krahn.
Crawford said Mike Ribeiro was the best player in the scrimmage, as he helped Brenden Morrow score two goals.
The coach said he also thought Kari Lehtonen was great early in the scrimmage as he was under heavy fire. Crawford also pointed out that Trevor Daley had a good scrimmage and that the line of Fabian Brunnstrom-Jamie Benn-Steve Ott was also impressive.
``We moved Bruno to the left side and Otter to the right side, and that really seemed to work for us,'' Crawford said. ``I like Otter with Benn, I really do.''
