It was an uneventful morning skate.
Everybody came off about the same time, so it was not clear who would be a scratch tonight.
Stars coach Marc Crawford said he would make his decision tonight.
The guess is that Mark Fistric is back in the lineup, but Jeff Woywitka was fine in his two games, as he was even, averaged 15:13 in playing time, and the Stars had two of their best overall performances and kept the shots against down.
So we'll see. Maybe they'll go with another defenseman out of the lineup.
Krys Barch (hand) looks fine, and you do wonder if you have to have his presence in against a Ducks team that likes to fight. That said, Brian Sutherby can fight, and so can a few others on the Stars.
It should be interesting to see who Crawford picks.
Anaheim had an optional skate and coach Randy Carlyle does not reveal his starting goalie. After Curtis McElhinney started the last two days, most here felt that Jonas Hiller would get the go tonight. Kari Lehtonen will start for the Stars.
A couple of interesting stats for the game:
Dallas has outscored opponents 10-5 in second periods this season, while Anaheim has been outscored 13-9. In addition, Dallas has outscored opponents 17-7 at even strength while Anaheim has been outscored 22-15.
